What must a business plan include?

A business plan should comprise four main sections:

1. Business Description;
2. Marketing Plan;
3. Financial Plan; and
4. Management Plan.

An executive summary should be attached to the Business Plan, which should also include financial projections and supporting documents.Which are the elements of the Business Plan?

1. Purpose;
2. Table of Contents;
3. The Business (description, marketing, competitors, operational proceedings, human resources, financial data, source and application of funds, detailed investments, balance sheets, analysis of the break-even point, projections of results, summary of the last 3 years, projection of the 1st year with monthly details, statement ofassumptions used, cash flow projections); and
4. Supporting Documents (Register of the Owners, Administrators’ CVs, Budgets, Pro form invoices, Letters of Intent issued by clients and suppliers, previous balance sheets).
